This is a stunning vintage hand coloured lithograph of the 1907 The Awakening of Galatea by Herbert Gustav Schmalz. It is presented here in its original Art Nouveau frame and is a really stunning piece.
Original frame is metallic bronze. There is a small amount of foxing on the paper due to age but it is quite minor and the entire piece presents beautifully. The print has been removed from the glass, cleaned and replaced.
