Highly unusual antique French 19th Century Louis XVI double caned bench seat.
With double caned arms and a woven rattan seat, this chair is flanked by wonderful timber carved ribbon mouldings and neoclassical legs. There is one small fault to the woven rattan on one of the arms. Please see pictures for detail. The seat is perfect. We visualise this very pretty item in a bedroom, under a window or in a French inspired bathroom.
