A stunning pair of 19th-century Japanese Imari porcelain vases, richly decorated in the classic Imari palette of iron red, cobalt blue, and soft gold. Each baluster-form vase features hand-painted florals, birds in flight, and ornamental cartouches, all framed by elegant scrolled handles and elaborate raised appliqué roses in full bloom.
These vases are a wonderful example of Japanese craftsmanship—ornate, lively, and decorative. The hand-modelled flowers add dimension and delicacy, while the bold patterning ensures they make a striking impression from every angle.
Both vases are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, or losses. A rare and sculptural pair that bridges Japanese tradition with the exuberant aesthetics of the early 20th century.
