Imported from Paris, this finely carved giltwood floor lamp dates to the early 20th century (circa 1910–1925). Crafted in the neoclassical revival style, the tall column features crisp fluting, a compressed baluster form, and a gadrooned circular base — all enriched with an aged gilt finish that shows a soft, time-worn patina.

Originally designed to hold a torchière shade, the current plastic uplighter diffuser is a later replacement. The turquoise shade was added during the 1970s and is included in the sale. Thus leaving scope for the buyer to customise with glass or fabric to suit their interior.

Elegant and architectural in scale, this lamp bridges the glamour of the Belle Époque with the restraint of early Art Deco Paris, making it a versatile statement piece for both traditional and modern settings.
