Set of six dining chairs by Chiswell, crafted in Australia during the 1960s and finished in rich solid teak with original black vinyl upholstery.
This Chiswell design is highly desirable and the black vinyl is in excellent condition with firm seats. There are 2 small scuffs on the corner of 2 of the chairs and one bar is missing feet. The feet are new to us, as we have never come across this set with these original feet before making me feel like they must usually be lost along the way or be a particularly early version. In any case the lack of feet to the front of one chair is not impactful with regard to use or balance.
Pictures of both the scuffs and the missing feet are attached. Besides this these chairs are immaculate and the frames are rock solid.
