Made by the most important glass blower of the 20th Century, Archimide Seguro sometime in the 1950-1960s, this beautiful item retains its original label and is in stunning condition. Archimede Seguro (1909-1999) was a 23rd generation Venetian glass blower, his family having been in the business of blowing glass since 1397 with his children continuing the tradition today. This stunning example from Murano retains its original label and is made from gorgeous raspberry pink colours with a spiral rib design enhanced with gold foil inclusions. Four textured berry pink prunts decorate the body with the elaborate stopper of the same decorations. An immaculate piece with a beautifully polished pontil completes this beauty. 25.5 cm tall
