Known for his spectacular veneer work, Paul Kafka was closely associated with Harry Siedler, being his trusted cabinet maker, however, he was also responsible for fitting out many of the premier properties in Sydney during the 1950 -late 1960s. This beautiful kidney table has received a very sensitive restoration and is now in gorgeous condition with an original glass top for added protection. Large enough for use as a coffee table, but practical for use as a side table also. Unusually large and quite heavy this table sits atop 3 elegantly tapering legs and features Kafka's hallmark Birdseye maple veneer top. 1.05 x 53 x 53 high
